Terms of service

 In order to be able to maintain social distancing our drivers are only permitted to carry out ground floor contactless deliveries which means items will be delivered to the threshold of your property only except for those who have specifically paid additional extra charges for install services which will only be adhered too if strict social distancing guidelines can be met and nobody within the property is self isolating or awaiting results of COVID-19.

Our drivers unfortunately can not remove their footwear for safety when entering houses and Starlight Furniture will take no liability to any damage to household property or otherwise should you choose to ask them to place this inside for you.

Our delivery staff will take reasonable care when delivering the products, however where access is restricting the delivery, drivers reserve the right to refuse assistance on safety grounds and customers will be subjected to a re-delivery fee of £25.99.
Starlight Furniture and our independant drivers take no responsibility for any damages caused to property, household or otherwise during the installation process if this is chosen.
Please note for safety drivers can not remove their shoes when entering a property should you choose the install service or request them to place this inside for you.
All packaging for deliveries / installations will be left with the customer to recycle responsibly.


Starlight Furniture cover the whole of the UK when paying for our Express service, and we strive to deliver within the hours of 8am and 8pm.
However from time to time, it is necessary to work outside of these times and we appreciate your understanding in advance.

COD Order: Starlight Furniture Reserve the right to Cancel any orders that are out of our man & van service area, longer lead times are expected North of Dundee & South of London. Should we be unable to Deliver within a reasonable timeframe we will offer you a paid pallet service at an additional cost via National carrier.

For deliveries requiring self assembly, please check all boxes and parts for screws and instructions carefully. To save space and packaging, screw packs, instructions and even legs/feet of the product may be stored in other parts.
For example garden furniture cushions and screws may be found inside one of the arms.
Dining table chair legs and bed frame feet can be found in a zippable compartment under the fabric base.


When assembling the furniture, it is advisable to loosely insert all the screws first and then simultaneously tighten each screw a little at a time. Over tightening one part too early may cause alignment issues with the rest of the set and delay build time. We hope you are very happy with your purchase and welcome any customer photos and feedback. If for any reason you are not happy with the product we request returns back in original packaging as per our terms and conditions stated on our website. If the item has arrived with damage, damages must be notified to us within 7 days. Please be aware that you will be required to supply photographs to corroborate any claims of damage to the inner or outer packaging of the products and of any damage to the product itself. We do not accept any claims for damage caused by the customer.


Although every effort is made to ensure that the goods purchased are 100% as described and free of damages and defects, due to the handmade nature of the majority of our products, there may be variations in the materials used or the finish due to availability of materials used which is absent in mass-produce goods, minor imperfections or variations are to be expected in certain pieces and will not be deemed as defects, or reason for return. Approximate measurements of products are quoted on our site and your failure to take note of the size of a product will not be deemed as a reason for return. For further explanation of this clause, please contact us regarding the specific item that you are interested in.


Finally we understand that in order for the product to arrive as safely as possible we use a lot of packaging. All cardboard, polystyrene, plastic, shrink wrap and even wooden pallets can be recycled and we ask that you please recycle responsibly.
Any products delivered upon which we offer an additional install service, drivers will leave the packaging with you to recycle and will not take this away due to space restrictions in the van.
